My TBM FIL related to me that the main reason he joined the church, is that once one of his daughters was crying and he didn't know what to do. He put his hands on her head to pray and she pooped. He knew right then that the church was true.

Well, seems like pretty air tight logic to me. Let's see some of you try to refute that...

I hope he's never shared this in a testimony meeting, but then again, I've heard logic close to this by others.

Oh yes, it has been shared. It's his entrance story...so he is very fond of it.

The sad part is, imagine a non-mormon telling someone that they are in their faith because of a dirty diaper. Mormons would role their eyes and walk away thinking how ridiculous that is...

This logic reminds me of the "look up at the stars...See! There is a God" argument.

He got it wrong that was God telling him that Mormonism is a pant load.

I can't top the diaper story but...

From an actual testimony given in Fast and Testimony meeting....

I was deer hunting and wondered if the Church was true... I said to God,... if the Church is true, send me a deer to shoot. Within a few hours along came a deer and I shot it. That's how I know for sure this is the TRUE Church!

Preferably, chocolate chip oatmeal.

When I was a kid we were camping in Eastern WA. A guy was sitting on the dock at the lake talking to a girl he had just met. A bird flew by and pooped on the mans shoulder, so he rolled off the dock, into the lake, and washed it off.

I think that bird poop was a sign from god that those two were to be married for time and eternity. I don't think they were mormon, so they probably didn't realze what it actually meant, went on to marry other people, had horrible marriages and divorced in ruin and unhappiness.
