I'm sure most of us will reflexively say no. But I believe most of us could be manipulated into committing what we would look back on and realize was an atrocity.
If we could get manipulated to give money away and get the secret handshakes to heaven. We could get manipulated to do anything under those death oaths. People are so well brainwashed in the church that they have no clue that they have been controlled for decades spinning in the same circles.
Somedays I wish I could. Would have liked to kill my ex, but I didn't (or his boyfriend). I couldn't even bring myself to damage property. The worst I did was write in lipstick on his windshield "Good-Bye"--to do with a song by Blackhawk.
