...several new posts I suspect are trolls, testing to see what kind of wacky venomous anti- replies they can get, and then laugh at how stupid ex-mo's are.

Hard to tell any more who is deep trouble, and who may be playing off those "Your second-cousin's nephew Timmy is in trouble in Vietnam and you have to wire $5,000 to help him get home!" scams as revenge for phishing the the internet missionaries.

However, I will offer advice anyway--even if a TBM is trying to pull a fast one, maybe some common sense will help break their shelf.......

Kill 'em with kindness. Although it is sort of fun to poke them now and again.

Maybe it's part of the cult's new program to use technology, as outlined in the other thread?

:)

I would say that there's a large influx of trolls right after any general conference, and it lasts up to a month. You can set your watch by it.

Trolls on an internet blackboard! Heavens no! They might see real people. And if they see real people, they might have real people problems. And then, and then they would have to change their perspective. Bah, I need to watch Halloween movies!! Gremlins.

Gremlins is more of a Christmas movie.

I watch Aliens every Mother's Day.

remember there are many more people with the same questions/concerns as someone you might think is trolling. You are not just writing to the OP, you are writing to the web. Good info is good info :)

You're paranoid! Har! Actually, I've wondered the same thing.

I suspect we've had a "visitor" posting dumb questions and situations just to poke us hornets here in the nest maybe.

I've noticed they often have a new name that seems to go away then another shows up. I dunno. There just seems to be more than usual that don't pass the sniff test to me but I've been wrong a lot.

I think so too and for the same reasons.

I'm glad I wasn't the only person who noticed.
