Most members don't know the loose handbook regulations and they are not enforced like the questions for getting a TR. No one oversees how these names are used and there are no consequences for members who turn in any name they happen to know or find. Commandments are the subjects of lessons and talks, but no one much cares about who turns in names or how they're used in the temple.

I think those rules are mostly there to recite to non-members who object to being implicated in mormon rites. The mormons tell them, "Oh, we wait a reasonable time after death and get permission from next of kin." A few mormons who turn in names might do this, but not most.

After the last big public shaming regarding them dead-dunking Holocaust victims, they promised to hire 4 full-time employees to make sure it doesn't happen again. And Jewish groups even supply them regular updates to lists of Holocaust victims to check against.

Yet...it keeps happening.

Clearly they simply don't *care.*

The thing I will never understand is how blind Mormons could be to help assist the Nazis murder the Jews throughout the Holocaust only to post-humously baptize them after the war ended?

They committed murder on the one hand in the name of God.

Then they had an about-face to save souls, so they believed, only Jewish ones.

Jews have no need of Mormon salvation. They have their own.

Mormon post-humous baptisms for anyone is a forcing of will by the Mormon church upon others against their wishes. They have no right to say it's the choice of so and so to accept or reject in the afterlife.

Jews were murdered for their beliefs in this life; and many sent to their deaths by Mormons.

It's an affront to their memory and to Jews in general to continue this horrid practice including among family relatives of Mormons who happen to be Jewish.

How schizophrenic Mormonism is, is that it has baptized Adolf Hitler at the same frenzy it has Anne Frank. He represented pure evil. Then too so did those Mormons who aided and abetted the Nazis, and were Nazis themselves during WWII.

This is the first time I have heard of this. If this is the case, all I can say is WOW. Help kill them then do temple work for them. How crazy is this?

A historian wrote a book about it several years back that was featured at the 2015 ex-Mormon conference in Salt Lake City.

J. Reuben Clark was one of the most hateful anti-Semites during WWII. He turned his back literally and denounced Jews pleading for their lives in Nazi controlled Germany, all the way from Salt Lake City.

Mormon churches in Germany had swastikas flying from their church houses; and posted signs that banned any Jews from entering.

Mormons used genealogy to smoke out the German Jews who had converted to Christianity so they could turn it over to the Third Reich to have those converted Christians murdered.

The only known Resistance Fighter who was a Mormon was a 17 year old youth. When he was caught, he was ratted out by the Mormons in his community. Then he became excommunicated for being a resistance fighter; next he was arrested by the Nazis; and then he was executed.
