Did God already tell you Duke beat Kansas?

Yep. HE likes Methodists more than secular schools. But, he likes Catholics more than Methodists.

I love that Loyola is still in the mix.

Just got back from the demolition of KSU in Atlanta. The Loyola coach is a long time friend of mine. It's crazy!!! Sister Jean is national sensation. We had a pre-game, good luck send off party at the Hyatt, two hours before the game. Just family and friends. Sister Jean was there and sucked up all the attention. Nike gave her a new pair of custom shoes. This is awesome for them and Chicago. Porter will never have to buy his own beer in Chicago again!

Sister Jean is great! She really represents the warmth, down to Earth quality, and good humor that one can find within the Catholic faith.

She's sharp and insightful. Really knows basketball and students. She's lived in a dorm apartment for 30+ years. My kid has attended the last 4 BB camps that Porter puts on in summers. She says Sister Jean cruises in (she's only been in a wheel chair since she fractured her hip in November) and encourages the kids and gives them pointers. I've never seen a 98 year old person relate to kids as well as she does. She's the real deal.

I think there is this perception that people with a religious vocations (nuns, priests, ministers, etc.) practice their religion 24/7 without a break. But they are whole people who pursue various hobbies and interests and who can hold a conversation on a wide variety of topics.

I traveled through Europe in the company of a RC nun and she was an excellent travel companion. She could discuss food, architecture, culture, and art. The only difference was she left evening events at a reasonable hour in order to complete her religious obligations in privacy.

(BTW, if you want to make it across the street in Rome alive, *always* follow a priest or a nun. Traffic will magically yield! lol)

I have to think that when you are 98 years old, and still expressing enthusiasm for life, that you must surely appreciate every minute of it. She is really a model for us all.

You're right. Google her meeting with Nevada's coach, Musselman's daughter. It's sweet. She has the ability to connect and relate to most anyone. Because she's genuinely interested. She knows basketball. Was a player and a coach. She sends Porter scouting reports and after game analysis regularly. He say that they are surprisingly accurate.

98. So, too young for President Nelson?

Probably too old. But, she is a virgin. I think she's seen too much truth to get involved with a mormon.

Gawhd must have been in the bathroom, cause a heathen state school beat a religious school in the last few minutes.

I think he was just setting it up for the final 4. 2 Catholic schools against 2 heathen schools. Should be interesting. Wonder what happens if Loyola and Villanova play each other for the title? Better Catholics win?

The NCAA's are one of the pleasures of life.

But, they play on Sundays. That's not pleasurable for the majority of Utahn's.

I always what would happen if the BYU women's basketball team made the championship. The women's championship is always the Sunday before the men's. Would they forfeit due to it being on a Sunday? Probably won't happen with how dominant the top teams in women's basketball are.
