Stopped wearing my garment tops a month ago but all I own for underwear are garments, so I have continued to use the bottoms.

I'm in the market for some new... unmentionables (I don't mean man-gerie, just wanted to call normal underwear unmentionables).

Thoughts and suggestions, men of RFM?

Please nothing with symbols or sacraments or covenants of consecration-- unless the symbols are scooby doo cartoon characters, I can get behind that.

Third the Costco boxer briefs. Very comfortable.

But keep wearing the danged garments until you have your diploma in hand! It's not long now.

Fourth :)

Post-garments, I started with briefs.
Then boxers.
Then boxer-briefs -- a nice compromise.

Used to always get Hanes, until I found Costco. Actually more comfortable, and considerably cheaper!

There have been so many advances in underwear in the last 10 years that this question is no longer relevant. Boxer briefs, or briefs that are long in the leg are hand's down the way to go. Just make sure that you spend money for the ones that have a contoured pouch for the twig and berries.

Used to wear boxers but now boxer-briefs. Boxer-briefs is the better way to go, less rolling up the leg.

Briefs.

The boxer briefs just ride up my legs and end up looking like briefs anyway.

I would suggest trying both to see what you like. Of course, if you can't figure it out, there's always commando. :D

Suits, finer fabrics, business casual: boxers(sounds like Costco is the favorite)
Kick around shorts, Levi’s,(grubbys in general): commando.

Wow, two converts!
I'm quickly approaching the number of converts on my whole two-year mission! Yeah!

If I may offer a suggestion...get some colorful ones. Something other than white (like garments). You'll feel...free. :)

Get her some sexy panties and matching bras. Tell her you're still the priest/penis holder in the family, and the Holy Ghost told you to tell her to conform to modern marital practice.

Public or Private?
Two layers or One?
Attractive...?

These are some of the questions you'll have to answer.

April 1997. My divorce was final and I moved out of the house I'd shared with my wife for 17 years, to a 1 bdrm apartment in downtown Salt Lake City.

I moved all my clothes and shoes, a bed, bedding, towels etc.

I had a ZCMI credit card from when I'd worked there and think I finally had it paid off.

Got all settled in, made a trip to the ZCMI on Main street on Main Street. I bought a package of boxer briefs from Jockey, I think and some colored t-shirts.

Went home, put on the new underwear which felt really odd after nearly 30 years of wearing garments. Took all my garments, not that many actually, and wrapped them in an old bedsheet (I bought those new at ZCMI too) and took them out back of the apartment and into the big metal bin. Never wore garments again and I never missed them.

This is one of the perks of being postmodern. You get to decide.

Go to target or similar big box. Buy a pack of each to see which one fit your "loins and sinew"the best.

I turned out to be a boxer briefs kind of guy. Still wear an undershirt, even living in Hawaii. It soaks up the sweat.

Wow! It sounds like my husband is in the minority on the underwear preference. He wears boxers, cause he says the boxer briefs just roll up your leg and you can't unroll them. He says the boxers ride up your leg as well, but at least you can pull them down.
As a female, I don't think I'd prefer boxer briefs either. When I left the church I actually bought some women's 'boxer briefs' and I couldn't stand them. They rolled up my leg into a bunch and I couldn't for the life of me, roll them back down. Never wore them again.

Well before getting endowed I only wore boxers. I figure I'll give these special boxer briefs a try then if I don't like them I can resort back to the old boxer days. those were nice.

The Costco ones (and some other, Fruit of the Loom, for example) have contoured legs rather than straight, which makes them much less prone to rolling/riding up :)

Hope I'm not crashing the party boys but one girl's opinion is that guys look hot in blue boxers. And I much prefer men in blue oxford cloth shirts as well, if you ever wear oxford shirts at all. Not because blue is gender appropriate. It's just that I"M SICK OF DINGY CHURCH WHITE SHIRTS ON MEN!!!!

There. I go that off my chest.

Well I have an assortment depending on my mood and the weather.

if you are just now transitioning from Garments Go with Jockey MIDWAY briefs, they go to the knee and look and feel like the garment bottoms. you might feel ok in them. As they are what you are used to.
They even show the line at the knee when sitting. I wear those if and when I make a visit to the ward 'funeral, baptism something of obligation.

Boxer brief if I feel like I need a little support down there.

Regular boxers just to relax around the house in..

but Fruit of the loom KNIT Boxers I highly recommend. Absorbs sweat the crotch is low enough for my stuff to shift easily. the elastic is smooth and flexible. very comfortable.

don't do the tighty whities you might not ever be comfortable
