Personally I prefer an apocalypse that is supposed to happen within days like the one scheduled for April 23. I find it difficult to maintain excitement for a doomsday that may not happen for eight months or more. After all haven't all the recent end of the world days just been a thrill.

Err, or, in a few months.
Or in a few years.

Dark Matter is real! Dark Matter appeared to me on a Tuesday in November of 1984, when I was about to enter the studio for a rhumba lesson. It stood about 14 stitums high, 9 pshaws wide and probably weighed about 23 skidoos. It was wearing a hand-painted sign that said "Dark Matters!"

20 minutes later I totally aced my rhumba test!
