Talk About a Mix-Up: Joseph Smith dies and goes to Heaven, while the Pope dies and goes to Hell . . .

After a few days, God gets a call from a complaining Satan, who says:

"We've obviously got a mix-up. The Pope's been sent down here to Hell and is really messing up what would otherwise be a great party. I understand you've got Joseph Smith. How about a swap?"

God sighs with relief and replies:

"It's a deal."

So, the Pope starts levitating up and Joseph Smith starts gravitating down and they pass each other.

Joseph Smith says to the Pope as they momentarily hover in the air:

"Your Holiness! Glad to see you! I bet you're really looking forward to going to Heaven!"

The Pope says:

"Indeed, I am. I have always looked forward to meeting the Virgin Mary."

Joseph Smith replies:

"I'm sorry. You're a day late."
