Just so you know: the correct phrase is "toe" the line, not "tow" - it comes from competitive sports,where there is often a starting line, to which you are supposed to put your toe, not back of it or in front of it.

Point well taken, but there is a double meaning

The other meaning is "towing" the line as in towing the line connected to a barge, boat, wagon which requires much personal energy in a boring sort of way.
