use you imagination, anony!

lots of people put a towel or have a padded seat; google Fremont Solstice Bike Parade for about a ton of photos, 'this is Seattle' at its finest!

most of the riders aren't what I'd call 'true nudists', probably haven't been to a nudist park, etc., but it's still fun.

In Seattle / western WA, we have a saying: Summer begins on July 5th! So the weather can be iffy....

There's already been one city NBR, that was in Bellingham about a week ago. they're promoted as an anti-vehicle dependence protest, so police don't (can't?) cite or arrest anyone.

Cheers!

Why settle for exposing just the skin on your face, arms and lower legs to melanoma risk when you can get a wrinkly spotted look end to end?
I'm too lazy to rub sunscreen over every bump and crevasse, but probably some people like that part.

(My skin HATES the sun and it is getting worse the older I get.)

If I were a guy, I'd be afraid my parts would get caught in the spokes (hey, I'm old). ;-D

Have a fun time!

thanks for the 'advice', dagny!

I hope U live close enough to be a spectator if you don't ride with us!!

FYI the men/women ratio is darn close to 1:1, sometimes I think more women ride...

I'll pass...

My "package" might get caught in the spokes...

As a kid we'd clip baseball cards to our bikes too make clack clack sounds as you rode down the road.

I can't imagine the sounds one would make if one's junk got caught up in the spokes.

I googled the photos. Seattle is obviously full of cultural Marxists and other miscreants. And was that Dave the Atheist I saw looking anxiously at his spokes?

It looks like a blast.

Maybe you can be his spokes-person?

:)

Now that is a disturbing possibility. I like Dave, to be sure, but that image...

Seattle's Fremont neighborhood is reputed to be one of the most liberal in the city. It's nickname is "The People's Republic of Fremont." Lot's of (original) hippies, neo-hippies, stoners, socialidts, anarchists, communists, vegans, pacifists, etc.

There's even a heroic bronze statue of Lenin, imported from the USSR in one of the major squares--right along the bike route.

Not to mention a giant troll who lives under the Aurora/99 bridge, but that's not on the bike route.

If they're socialists or Communists, they are not by definition "liberals".

They sound like they're LARPing as Communists. Under real Communism they would be liquidated as bourgeois parasites tout suite.

Sorry, I live in Eastern Washington and wouldn't be able to make it.

That, and I'm a bit too shy for a nude bike parade.

I only go naked in 'The Center Of The Universe', so, I might.

It's a lot of good clean fun.
A human powered parade!

I grew up in E. Washington but had cousins in Issaquah right behind the LDS Church. There was a little shed there where the Scouts collected newspapers and magazines. Apparently, on good member had a Playboy subscription that we were able to peruse as young men going through the recycle. He also had a membership at "Fraternity Snoqualamie" as the quarterly, finely illustrated, newsletters showed.

Nudist in the home, especially in the Summer.

And, I confess, when it’s Summer, I may have once or more used the exercise bike in the nude, in the home.

Nude, outside, with a whole bunch of other nudists, on bikes, in the city? Not. That. Free. Alas.

Cheers to your freedom, GNPE!

moremany Just Google up Fremont Solitice parade and you'll get more than enough pictures and video to satisfy your curiosity.

Maybe enough that you'll participate next year.
