This is in no way intended to be a defense of this individual, but I feel the prompting of the spirit to mention that mormonism asks that men not yield to the temptations of the flesh outside of marriage and then makes marriage between two unprepared young people a sort of ideal. "Trust in the lord!" "Yea, ghawd will provide!" "You won't be asked to do something that you can't handle!"
