It's more enjoyable to talk about music.

What if you knew her?

A line from the song to which you alluded.

Ohio, Teach Your Children Well, and Find the Cost of Freedom were nearly simultaneous releases by CSN&Y.

Talk about nailing the zeitgeist. Between them and Paul Simon, OMG

And a tip of the hat to former poster Punky's Dilemma for the inspired username

So there !
Don't make me go all Buffalo Springfield on your ass.

Yeah, for what it's worth.....

For the Not Old among us who may not know, Stephen Stills and Neil Young were in Buffalo Springfield, so I just assume a reference to CSN&Y includes Buffalo Springfield. :)

At one time or another, everybody played for either Buffalo Springfield or Genesis.

Name drop: I went to 2 of the same schools as Peter Gabriel (several years after...) and his elder sister Ann was my first teacher at the age of 4.

My sister kept her horse on land belonging to their parents, so we often went there. I once saw Peter Gabriel mowing his dad's lawn...

Tom in lockdown (without a ponytail;-)

We can't take you seriously, Tom, until you have grown a ponytail. A short one will suffice if secured by a small rubber band.

Being taken seriously is not the purpose of a man bun. If you don't believe me, ask EOD.

I've never seen crossed-out or strike-through letters on RFM before now. I didn't think the site's software even allowed for that.

The site's software does not support it. I did an unauthorized work-around.
Yay for Unicode !

One dead in my state but as I live in Western Australia I'm not sure I count.

That death was an elderly passenger on the Diamond Princess cruise ship which was stuck in quarantine in Japan. We have not had a death since then although our number of cases is up around 80.

You count Lindy! We are all in this together.

Please take the netting off your fruit trees, the bats need the food more than humans right now :) They are helping to restore the ecosystem.

PS - wombats rule :)

We took the netting off our grape vine a couple of days ago but it's parrots and lorikeets who are munching the few grapes we had left. The neighbours fig tree is feeding quite a few birds too.

strangely a bat got caught in an outdoor light fitting near our fig tree yesterday, so I freed it. First time I've seen one at our place north of the Swan River, Perth.

Australian infections now beginning to grow exponentially, hence closure of borders, social distance rules, sport and entertainment stopped - schools still open in some states but within 48 hours will probably close. Even Bondi Beach got closed down yesterday.

Trying to shut everyone inside while keeping the economy idling along and the shelves stocked is a challenge. Flu season wil start here soon too.

Good luck to all you in the Northern Hemisphere - lets hope warmer spring weather improves things a little.

Are you managing to get groceries alright? Most of our local ( south of the river) supermarkets are out of pasta, rice, canned veg, except for some reason beetroot, flour, loo rolls, tissues and kitchen roll.
OH and I have enough which will allow us to self isolate for a few weeks..we are both around 70 so we'll be taking extra care of ourselves.
