>>"I don't think people should take precautions. The risk that there will be some damage or that it would hit someone is pretty small -- not negligible, it could happen -- but the risk that it will hit you is incredibly tiny. And so I would not lose one second of sleep over this on a personal threat basis," he said.
Perhaps a nice message could be sent if the 21 Tons of Chinese Communist Rocket landed along the east bluffs above the Grand River located about five miles south of Jameson in Daviess County, Missouri. where according to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Los Mormones, it is the site where Adam and Eve lived after being expelled from the Garden of Eden.
Why not Adam-ondi-Ahman? The beginning of the end. And if it takes out my brother's 40 acres in the area he has on hold for the end times when the Mormons all march back to Jackson County, so be it.
Let's face it. Russ is just crazy enough to call for the march back and claim a newly vacant Utah all to himself.
I knew a lady who would invariably convince herself that the news featuring a suspected killer heading west from mid-America meant that the suspected killer had a road map to her house on the dashboard of his car.
Likewise, there are people out there who are beginning to worry themselves sick that 21 tons of angry Chinese rocket is locking its targeting system on them.
Is a Harvard astrophysicist a "Chinese propagandist"?
Get yourself an education on just how huge the atmosphere surrounding the Earth (and the size of the planet itself), and you might look less foolish in the future.
Unrelated to this, I recently edited a novel by a Chinese woman. She wrote it while doing her doctorate on black holes at Harvard. (She's relocated to Europe.) It's a revenge/crime drama set during China's one-child policy.

If you have full coverage insurance on your car, it will be covered, less the deductable, by the comprehensive coverage of the policy. Unless your Yaris is impacted by a returning-to-Earth Tesla. Then it's covered by the regular collision coverage.
It will be nowhere near Utah, but I might be in the path. The best guess is the North Atlantic, possibly late tonight or in the early morning hours on Sunday. Click on the picture to enlarge:
China now reporting https://weibo.com/2196038737/KeDPliFXS that the rocket reentered at 0224 UTC at 72.47E 2.65N which is right over the Maldives. If correct will be interesting to see if we get reports from there
Apparently it reentered over the Mediterranean, flew over the middle east, and landed in the Indian Ocean near the Maldives. People in Israel and Oman report spotting it.
In about 80 minutes, 11:08pm PDT, that mo-fo will do a flyover just south of Los Angeles. Yeah, North Disneyland!
It's supposed to keep going, heading for the Jersey shore.
On the pass after that, it comes in north of San Francisco and goes over Reno, and then east, over the country and out over the Atlantic, between Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
landed in your front room? In my single mom days and working 2 jobs, my son walked in the house one day and said,"We've been robbed and they trashed the place."
