LOL! Here's a puzzler; more or less stupid than the "pray the gay away" business of the early 2000s? Who knows. That is what happens when an irrational and absurd ideology is embraced as the Truth™.
Two European countries, each with its own persuasion of Christianity, were at war with one another, with their religious differences being one of the bones of contention...
After one of the final battles, the winning team 'baptized' the losing team, to bring them into compliance with the version of Christianity the winning team was practicing. Nice touch, huh?
But there was a catch The losers were being tossed into a lake, in full armor. One priest was saying the baptism prayer while a second priest was giving them the last rites. Muy efectivo!
You know there is a segment of Christianity that would be okay doing that with all of today's Atheists.
"Knowing the Truth" is such a liberating, intoxicating feeling. No excess is too great when serving ghawd.
Yes, isn't it interesting that, in these latter days ;-), "righteous" has involved being angry. From my (rather expensive) education, I thought it meant getting on with doing right. No?

The Facebook guy has posted several times that the atheists banded together to counter the believers prayers with prayers of their own, which is why the exercise didn't work.
One might infer that the guy is truly stupid or that he's trying to prey on the believers. Either way, it's amateur hour and the atheists are still quite alive.

He just acknowledged that atheists are more powerful than all the world’s believers!! Take THAT, Jesus! > > One might infer that the guy is truly stupid or > that he's trying to prey on the believers. Either > way, it's amateur hour and the atheists are still > quite alive. >
I was trying to think what to say in an "atheist prayer" an all I could come up with was, "Se la vie, Se la guerre, Please pull up your underwear."
I've noticed when these types do these sort of things, they are already ready with a reason why it didn't work cuz they know damn well its not going to.
I'm a little disappointed the global prayer thing isn't a little more ambitious. Five million children die globally every year from disease and famine, why don't they pray for an end to this? For that matter, is God paying attention to this at all?
