My husband was a very able builder of wooden things, and he made a display for us to put on our porch. It has large, painted wooded candles which are supported by a curved Noel to hold them together.
The candles have light bulbs that light up when they are plugged into a light bulb socket that he also created, and which leads to the high porch electric socket--which he also made--without electrically killing himself.
