Here is the biggest lie I've heard from conference.

"The gospel of Jesus Christ does not change.

Gospel doctrine does not change.

Our personal covenants do not change."

It amazes me at the outright lies that spew from their mouths.

Almost two centuries of written documented proof of changing doctrine, changing beliefs and changing of the very words of the temple oaths and they have the audacity to say this?

Wake up Oaks! We have not only the written proof you are a bold faced liar but our own experiences to know you are intentionally misleading millions.

So what if the gospel of Jesus Christ does not change. Does that mean the Mormon church is true? Is Christ's birth, death and resurrection proof that the Mormon church is true? If it can be proven that God exists, is that proof that the Mormon church is true?

The gospel of Jesus Christ is not the same as Mormon doctrine. Gospel doctrine is not the same as Mormon doctrine. Bruce R. McConkie knew the difference when he wrote his book. The Mormon church claiming that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true is just trying to prove to the world that Mormons are Christians too. It's just more Christian speak in an effort to be less weird Mormon.

What annoys me when they say our covenants never change is that in the next sentence they'll say if you don't get the perfect spouse kids or whatever then it'll happen in the next life. It's the biggest cop out they've got, see we're suppose to obey yet God can do whatever he wants? Either God is God of the living or he's not, anytime a blessing doesn't come true they should say go find happiness out of the church because we don't have the answers.

I always like the expression "God will never give you more than you can bear" and then we find out that people die in the most horrific situations. I'm pretty sure, whatever happened to that person, it was more than they could bear.
