Actually greed and gullibility go together like a horse and carriage. Great combination. Just that sooner or later the wheels come off the carriage and sometimes the horse gets injured.
If proper, vetted records were available showing the mormon defendants paid tithing on the money they nefariously obtained would the church give the money back or would they try to hang on to it?
Would they pay just the original sums, or would they pay interest as well? WWJD?
