It still wouldn't make The Book of Mormon true.
How could it? Thomas Jefferson was said to have attempted to take the miracles out of The New Testament. It was a fools errand. This is like attempting to lose the horn yet retain the unicorn.
I find Mormon apologist's attempt to ground The Book of Mormon in actual artifacts and actual history laughable. What would it prove if they could? Nothing. God giveth liberally and upbraidth not.
These Mormons have the same credibility as Christians attempting to find Noah's Ark.
