http://lds.org/ensign/1987/09/i-have-a-question/i-have-a-question?lang=eng&query=sealing+children+BICSince the viability of a fetus is not recognized by the LDS church until it can live outside the womb, why would induced abortion be a sin? Is it? If a fetus is not seen as viable life requiring sealing or record keeping, why would the leadership consider any induced miscarriage a sinful act if it is nothing more than expelling fetal tissue.
Miscarriage is a term for spontaneous abortion. Induced abortion is induced miscarriage.
BTW, I take no moral position, just wish to discuss the LDS sealing of a stillborn or miscarriage.
