I mentioned the married polygamist LDS men served missions in the past. ((I am not quoting exactly, but that is the gist;))

I would like to have some info, as well Mutt.

My Great-Grandfather married at 23 years old in Utah. His first wife had their first child August 1899. December 1899, he was called on a mission for 23 months. She moved back in with her parents and newborn child. (my grandfather)

I find no date anywhere for this policy change...just that this changed. Mission Prez's are the exception, until they are senior couples doing the mission deal.

Anyone know the answer?
