Today's Washington Post has a large article about how conservative Mormons are. (Duh.) This is based on a Pew poll that will be released today. The article is at

I found a lot of it to be fairly obvious. But I was surprised by some of it. Less than half of the mormons polled think that abstaining from tea and coffee is very important. Really? Somebody from BYU was quoted. She made it sound like most mormons aren't nearly as conservative as this poll made them seem. Really???

I'll be interested to see the whole poll.
