I once knew a Mo fam who named one of their boys "Moriancumer."

We just called him Morrie.

Zerubabel was a kid I went to high school with. And I know a Nephi, and two Moronis.

Or is Moroni plural as well as singular? Or would it actually be Moron, when speaking of just one Moroni? Kind of like Alum, Alumni, Alumnus?

I always thought it would be a hoot if someone gave their kid the name Moroni-hah.

My daughter has a good friend named Ammon, went to college with a guy named Brigham and my three nephews are named Jarom Moroni, Joshua Malachi, and Jacob something or other. Can't remember right off, but it is also a book of mormon name. On another note, I went to school with a girl whose younger brother was named Ammon and they were not mormons. To non-LDS folks, I would think Ammon would not be a good name; think of the Ammonites in the Bible. It would be like naming your daughter Jezabel!

My name is Jershon. No one can ever say it even mormons. At least its not as common as the rest of em so I can tell people my parents made it up. Close enough right.
