Gordon B.S. Hinckley got snappy with Mike Wallace several times in the Ap 1996 CBS 60 Minutes piece on LDS INc and MORmONISM. As well as the better known Hinckley quips from that interview of "we're not a weird people " and "forget about those little flicks of history" , Hinckley assured Wallace that MORmONS are not told who to vote for .....
so it has to be just a pure random coincidence that
KBYU has produced a documentary titled:
"The Romney Code: The Life and Ethics of George W. Romney"
which heartily extols the virtues of George Romney
...even though ROmney's personal views at the time basically peed on LDS Inc's official stances on the Viet Nam war (which was being run by a MORmON General Westmoreland) and its own institutional racism.
AND OF COURSE!!!!!!!!! Extolling the virtues of one person who is named Romney can in no way be considered some kind of an endorsement of any other candidate who may ..... or may not... just happen to have a very similar name!
ITs all part of "The MORmON er Uhhhh Romney Code"
and remember LDS INC does not tell MORmON members who to vote for!!!! (WINK WINK WINK)
No doubt!!! that KBYU is currently very VERY busy producing documentaries on the fathers /mentors of other presidential candidates who are not LDS!!! No Doubt!!! KBYU will be airing
these other documentaries very soon!!! Because KBYU is a very fair organization! that is just interested in accurately reporting news, not a stooge puppet auxiliary arm of LDS INC... which does not get involved in politics!
And anyone... regardless of their politics... has to admire the lofty Moral standards of MORmONS like the Romneys. Among other things, the documentary told how young George was so fond of his love, Lenoire, that he constantly gave her lots of roses as a sign of his love. George needed lots of roses to give to Lenoire. One of George's sources for the many roses he needed to give to his love was from the graves of the local cemetery. isn't that a heart warming account !
Remember, thats "the code" for Romney style ethics !
