I haven't decided if we are going to church or not, and if so - which church. But other than that, it's Easter Baskets with the kids then over to my sister's house for dinner. We've been skiing this last week for break so we are ready for a day at home relaxing before back to school.
Watching the season finale of The Walking Dead. Maybe Jesus will show up and resolve the dispute between warring factions. Maybe he will be mistaken as a walker/biter. We'll see.
I'm making myself a nice lunch and downing it with wine and popping a couple bars of dark chocolate for 'dezzato'. Thank God I'm in an atheist country, I don't have to see kids running around the park looking for hidden colored boiled eggs and chocolate because, you see, these are symbols of zombie Jesus rising from his crypt. Hope the sun comes out tomorrow, this winter is oversataying its non-welcome.
Surrounded by family. Today, a basket of food we'll eat on Easter morning will get blessed at church. Tomorrow everybody will go to Mass, haven't decided if I will just to keep the peace or not. Whole lamb roasted on a spit in the garage for dinner, along with other stuff. Then I get to fly home to my real life.
Debating whether or not I want to go to church. Definitely going over to my brother's house and see my great-niece and great nephew. Then I will come home and play on my tablet.
One year my younger son and I went in to church and sat down as usual. There were dozens of Easter lily plants decorating the church. Within minutes, my son's nose turned into a faucet, and he began sneezing. I've never let him go to Easter Sunday since! He's at a comic book convention this weekend anyway.
Maybe church, if I can get my act together in time.
The treat: both of us are on health-related special diets, so no ham, no lamb. . .but my husband has been perishing for my home-made bruschetta capresese, made with a baguette, brushed with olive oil and briefly baked, topped with a mixture of chopped fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, minced garlic, and a touch of Balsamic vinegar - and mozzarella cheese!

All ingredients on hand!
Sunrise Easter Service on the ocean, then brunch with the entire family at my folks' home. Easter egg hunt in the backyard for the little ones, brunch, then spending the day swimming/tanning at the beach.
