I remember in Ribgy Hall, Ricks College in 1978 or so, my door being 'pennied'. That's where someone pushes the door while another puts pennies, causing the door knob not to work. Gee, I wonder what would have happened if there'd been a fire.

No, but you do finally get to see a lot of aluminum cans piled up.
The prank is kinda mediocre, and the guys snicker like five year olds sneaking an extra cookie the whole time.
I didn't go to BYU, but in the MTC, I did the penny thing to several people. I used shoegoo to seal someone's door shut one time. Little things like this are pretty stupid, but with how uptight people are in the MTC, it was hilarious. It was guaranteed that someone in our builing would open their door in the morning to a wet mop falling on them. I think I did that almost every night for 9 weeks.
As far as pranks go, this is some of my weakest work ever, but somehow, still some of the funniest lol.
When I was a student at U.C. Davis one of the dorm dwellers was gone for a 3 day weekend. The pranksters removed his door, framed and drywalled the opening, then painted the entire hallway. When he returned his room no longer existed. Not epic, but still funnier than the video.
If this whole "removed his door, framed and drywalled the opening, then painted the entire hallway" prank is not epic, I guess I've never seen an epic prank then.
