If I remember correctly, Bishop Hairy Palms would always interview the girls first then a little while later he would start the interviews with the males. I used to notice he always had a box of tissues and a bottle of hand lotion behind his chair. I always thought the box of tissues was a nice gesture for the girls that needed to cry.

Are the paid out of the ward budget or does SLC send them to the different Bishops? Who pays for the hand cream?

yes, I believe all the bishops had tissues on their desk... but the lotion?? no, I dont think I've seen that.
