I was just included on an email about the plan of attack on this "reaching out to less active members", They were to meet at the ward and then break up the people to be visited this past Saturday. Even though it was called reach out night, they were to meet and get going by 11 am. Then reconnect at the ward about 4 pm. Yeah, I bet that was a big success.

I think yes , they should be informed. Then they can deal with it as they wish. There is also a need to make sure it is not used in the future, as there may be leagal liability issues if something happens. (maybe not but better to know what's going on in your property)

There are some remote/less populated places that only have one or two wards, but many have 3. They rotate use, so one year you start at 9 am, the next 11 am, the next 1 pm. 2 out of three wards overlap an hour with the incomming group.. it's a zoo.

Maybe Bishop's Warehouse differes frfom areat to area then. As far as brands I mean. You have to hae a (pre-approved) form. Ours in Houston, has name brand items. It also has the huge can-o-peanutbutter, etc. I've helped a couple of elderly people with their oders as recently as mid-last year.
