That seems... dubious. Having been around a few pressurised cans that blew up (mainly 3.5 oz tanks of compressed co2, i can say that its extremely unlikely that a thin layer like that would stop a flying piece of metal, especially one going fast enough as to otherwise hit the (im assuming) femotal artery. See, I dont use prude as meaning a woman who doesnt have sex.
