Ive been watching it. I think they were clear that he was living a double life. They weren’t married though and Jody should have just walked away.

It sounds like anything else with the church. A year ago my exwife asked for a cancellation. I actually got an email from the First Presidency. How they got my email I have no idea, asking me about my feelings about it. I didn’t care and told them so. There was a question about if she was current in any financial obligations owed to me per the decree. I answered that she owed me $4000 in ta

That book was the end for me. Read it in 1990, loaned it to my father and it disappeared. Bought another copy but my three year okd grandson tore it apart (no conspiracy). I know for a fact Mormons make books disappear.

I think it was a place to put men who really were never going to be high priests and were in the way of up and coming elders that needed to be seen by high priests. Now guys like that are just banished to the back rowuntil they disappear or turn fifty and become high priests.

People who have a lot of time and money invested in something are less likely to walk away from it. If you have gone on a mission, paid ten percent of a good income, married somebody based on a church ideal rather than your own and used the church to influence every decision you make, there really isn’t anything that will make you look elsewhere.

A guilty pleasure of mine has been watching the A&E reality show “60 Days In”. The gist of this reality show is that a county jail, in this case the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, has placed a half dozen undercover civilians in its general population under the pretext of helping the jail deal with smuggling, management, etc. As you can imagine, madcap hilarity ensues at the zany misadvent

I tell people that “I was raised Mormon but I had the stick pulled out of my ass when I turned eighteen”. That always gets a laugh. Another favorite, “It’s been alledged but there isn’t enough evidence to convict” or “I was baptized but it never took”.

I never went on a mission. I joined the Navy instead, but my favorite part of this website is stories about missionaries. They are always eye opening and entertaining. You guys never disappoint.

My grandmother grew up in many early Utah mining towns and had the mouth of a coal miner. She tried not to swear but to no avail. She massacred many typical Mormon "swear words". Her favorite was "God Dangit" another was "gosh dammit". I would die from laughter when she would barge into our play room and yell "God Dang it, you kids have your shit scattered fr

The defendant waives his right to a speedy trial. Usually, it is in the defendent's best interest to post pone the case as long as possible. Witnesses cannot recall as much, evidence can be lost. There are rew good reasons from a criminals standpoint for a speedy trial.

Report them! Do not worry about online reviews. They could be from people who needed to have their kids removed. Call them and give a detailed report on why you think these kids are abused. Let them intervene. You can do nothing else and waiting longer to get to know the kids won't help anybody.
