I think I remember The Beatles being on the Ed Sullivan Show. My Parents were disgusted by their hair style and guitars.

I think it was just called the mission home then. It was from here that I did my first temple session and was given a special name. Back at the dorm, we were discussing how special the temple experience was until one of the missionaries told us he knew what our secret temple names were. They were all the same frigging name!! What a let down that was.

Ah yes, I remember this place well. The MTC was a 3-4 story building with bunk beds and dorm style rooms. A huge meeting room on the main floor where all of the indoctrination took place. Parents dropped off their kids in front, not much time for goodbyes. Yeah, was there for about a week and then off to the train station.

Back in the day when I was still deeply mired in the mormon cesspool, I heard mention of the temple cafeteria. However, I never did venture there to see. Why eat cafeteria food when there was a Mr. Steak so close by?

When I saw the need for funds, I prayerfully ran it past Jesus to see what he thought. I always ask Jesus when it comes to big decisions like this. I guess he was busy at the moment as he hasn't gotten back to me yet. Then I asked the big guy, but he must be busy too. So, I asked my neighbor's dog if he minded if I made a donation to RFM and he enthusiastically barked, wagged his tail, and

I believe it will slowly morph into a gentleman's club of sorts. When they figger out that they can dump the lowly members, liquidate the buildings, and thin their own ranks, the temples will become Club Med for the elite few who have connections. Then, second annointings will be so common that they will sell third annointings, fourth annointings, etc. Eventually, Black Belt annointings will b

It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see the top dogs come up some incentive for every member to visit every temple and receive a special pin to wear on their lapels that show just how special they are for their temple attendance dedication.

I seem to remember back in the day, my wife expressing her dislike to having to wear a dress to church. Women wearing slacks drew the stink-eye from some of the other congregants then. Being a man, I was clueless to it all. But I applaud the women who kicked against the pricks on this issue.

Wrap her carefully in tissue so as to not break her for next year. Gently set her in the box next to baby Jesus and the donkeys. Don't forget the hooks either. Next year is only 365 days away.

You know, this is a very important commandment to keep. Heavenly Father really needs this money. In fact, it's so important to pay those dollars that he has promised us that we will burn for eternity if we don't pay up. Isn't that wonderful? Our kind loving Heavenly Father loves us so much that he is more than willing to provide us with first degree, second degree, and third degree burns that

Thank you mister Bagley, Happy Krampusnacht to you too. Google provided me with this enlightenment: Krampusnacht is a celebration of the devil Krampus, who is believed to be a creature that is half-man, half-goat. He is depicted as being hairy with large horns, a goat's cloven hooves, red eyes, and fangs. If ever I happen upon one of these, I hope a little scritch under the chin will app

When Wendy's image popped up on my screen my first thought was of Tammy Fay Baker. Then I clicked the video and I wanted to hand her some paper towels. I would really dislike having this woman angry at me for any reason. I think I'll go hide in the closet now until I can find my happy place.

As I remember it, when the three hour block was announced from the pulpit, there was so much cheering from the prisoners that the ushers ran away and they almost had to rededicate the building again. I think I recall that the sacrexcrement was passed around during the first meeting which was sacrament meeting. Then as the closing prayer was offended up the prisoners were confused as to where t

I was saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. Such comedic talent that we will hear no more. John Candy also, and John Belushi. Two more powerhouse actors gone now. And, Chris Farley.

Many years ago my wife dragged me to see this movie. Afterwards she gushed on and on about how romantic it was. "love means never having to say you're sorry" till I finally said, "being sorry means never having to say I love You". Sleeping on the couch is never a good time no matter how you poof up the cushions.

I used to be scared near to death by anything to do with Satan. I was also afraid of the dark, spiders, and the kid up the street who had an awesome tree house and would punch anyone who dared to climb up and take a look. Once I stepped away from the mighty mormon church, I no longer feared Satan or god. As for the kid up the street with the awesome tree house, I learned that he would let
