Ramen noodles were light weight enough to take on field problems (leg infantry) and if you had time to heat them up, they made the MRE's main course edible, if you added it to the ramen. Pork Patty, freeze dried,...yuch! Pork Patty, freeze dried, added to Ramen....yum! So, they still have a place in my heart. Now I like to add an egg, a can of beef ravioli, and one slice of cheese!!! Add hot

One of my sisters ratted on me for drinking and banging during the summer I was waiting for my mission call(My plan was to let my mission be a reform school kinda thing, then I would start living right...lol), to the Stake Pres. Oh yeah, I left one thing out....the SP was my Dad! He wasn't amused. But, that single incident is the biggest reason I am out, and on this board 22 years later!

I was already out, but info on this site has inspired me to find ways to get my family out(haven't attempted yet, but I am building a plan). Before I was just "..It's just as good as any religion...If it makes them happy..." and maybe I will change my mind again and leave them alone, but finding out about the endowment rituals really shocked me. I don't know what I expected it to be,

1002. Re: Pets
We lived in the country, so we always had a dog or two outside. Now I have 4 indoor(still live in he country, so they run on 3 fenced acres during the day) mutts ranging from 120lbs - 55lbs. My vet LOVES me. He should, I'm puting his kids through college. He took us to the Kentucky Derby a few years ago. I can't imagine not having a dog.

This was one of my pet peeves when I was a member. It didn't matter who was in the Bishoprick, everyone who was older than me, felt like they where in charge of me, and felt free to tell me when I was not "showing my reverence". Just a bunch of old tools!

I've not been to very many churches(once to a Methodist, once to a Presbaterian (sp?)), they all "pass the plate". The thing is, this money stays there to pay the Pastor, Choir Director, custodians(yes other churches Pay those people)and for the building and such. It doesn't get sent to some far off place to build shoping malls. I'm sure some coruption happens in other churches too, b

Here are a few of the everyday, foolishness; 1. Having 20 kids even though you can't afford 3 is a rightous thing. 2. When someone is baptised and a piece of her dress happens to float to the surface, God will never recognize that, and it must be done again. 3. Everything has to have an opening and closing prayer. 4. White shirt & tie=good, colored shirt=no sacrament for you! 5. If som

I never had one, but can remember my parents, and older bros had one. I can remember everyone losing them, or having to stop, turn around, and go back to the church to get a forgoten quad. Misfit, I may have a quad you can have. My parents gave me one for christmas, many years ago, and I think it is still in a box, in a protective wrapper somewhere...I hate that you have to get her one, bu

Deacons quorum pres(made sure everyone had ties) teachers quorum pres(made sure everyone washed their hands) Priests quorum pres(made sure everyone had enough vodka and OJ, to make the stake dances somewhat enjoyable). Didn't make it past that, so I guess I wasn't all that valiant in the pre-existence....However, I am white and delightsome!

If they are going to leave a magazine open for you to break your porn "habit", I think you owe it to them to show them the other side of the issue. I think a Penthouse magazine left open to the apropriate page, left in that same bedroom after you leave, might get the point across. Or you could just tell them it's none of their damn business.
