My perspective based on the teachings of Mormonism. "We think eternally" is a quote from a Mormon working in the LDS Church membership department. Their theology dictates everything in their lives. These are people with a belief system that covers every single part of their lives. Now about the new wife of the new president/prophet. Wendy is so special, she has been chosen (in th

"We think eternally" is a quote from a Mormon working in the LDS Church membership department. Wendy is so special, she has been chosen to be married to a prophet for eternity. My guess is that the adult children knew this was a real possibility and welcome her as another special woman who will have spirit children with the prophet (their father) in the eternities.

Isn't the name of the church, exactly the same? Isn't it the same name the Newsroom Style Guide, journalists is supposed to use, in print and in media reports? The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Isn't that it? Anything else refers to other churches. All this whining about using the words: Mormonism, Mormon, and LDS is old news. Is President Nelson "off the rails"

I called myself a Mormon or LDS, same for those who are members. If I was living in the late 1800's we would be Brighamites, or some other group name as there were several factions that broke off from the original LDS Church. The current name is the final one they landed on. It had other names, originally.

This is what happens when the generiatric ward is running a large church. They cannot grasp the rammifications of trying to drop the use of the words: Mormon or LDS. They don't seem to have the ability to understand how impossible it is to make that kind of a change. The only thing it will do is continue to get journalists to use the Newsroom Style Guide for them. That's it, folks. That

This is all about thumbing their nose at the Evangelicals who claim Mormons are not Christians. Oh boy. Here we go. It never ends. My God is better than your God. Same game, same name.

Nothing new. It's been on the official list of names for years. This is really just for reporters and journalist reports. They want the whole name of their church used. So... is MOTAB still the Mormon Tabernacle Choir? You bet it is.

It's a shame there is so much derogatory slang around mental health diagnoses. It's also a great concern that many are not treated well, even when they are being treated. It's true in prisons also. The same applies to the aging and elderly. I've been called all kinds of derogatory names because I'm a senior. Most of the derogatory name-calling comes from a lack of maturity, compassion and unde

I will defend the RIGHT to our beliefs, religious or otherwise. That is an all incompassing statement. It's about our freedoms. I have a right to my beliefs, just as anyone else does. It is not about who is right or wrong, or who was hurt or angry and who was not, who is better or worse, who is good or evil. None of that has anything to do with the RIGHT to our individual, personal belief syst

First off, everyone has a right to their belief systems and what they find fits in their personal World View. It's all about perspective. We are free to take any view we find works for us and change our mind if we want. What one sees as support, might be seen as something entirely differently by someone else. I've had to learn to see "both sides" in some of my work, and also in

I had no idea there were all these variants of colors, smells, eye blindness, etc. I'm one of those that see what is there, I guess. I see numbers and colors and don't see or hear anything else. Seems rather simple, now that I think of it, compared to some other folks. I only see auras when I close my eyes or stare. I've seen demonstrations of people who were appeared to be thrilled with

Check out Consumer Reports. I heard they are reliable. Top loading washer. Keep it simple. Want an extra rinse, just reset. We use gas dryers. In my case, I am limited by size and space.

There are many kinds of abuse that can be reported and criminally prosecuted. Domestic Abuse is not just physical abuse. I highly suggest you become informed of the Domestic Abuse Laws in your state. I presume it is CA. Many different kinds of abuse can and are reportable and prosecuted as criminal. Some include psychological and emotional abuse which can be verbal threats, humiliation, ins
