Polygamy and me

I just read a few paragraphs of the LD$' "essay" on polygamy. Carefully worded lies, IMO. But reading it inspired some other thoughts.

1. Polygamy does not "raise up seed." Having lots of SEX raises up seed.

2. A woman doesn't have more kids because she's married to a polygamist & has one or more sister wives. She has more kids because she has more SEX, no matter if it's a polygamous husband, or any other man who impregnates her.

3. Polygamy served 2 purposes in the LD$ church:

a. It allowed horny men to have more sex.
b. It increased the number of members of the church.

4. IMO, ALL polygamy has its roots in horny men seeking more sex and more control over their families.

Back when I thought that heterosexual marriage was a good thing for me, I was glad I was a monogamist.

Alas, as a gay man, even one wife was one too many.

The evidence shows women in polygamy have fewer, not more children.

Of course there are exceptions -- but on average they don't get as much attention to GET pregnant as a monogamous wife does.

Polygamy is about men fulfilling their sexual fantasies and oppressing women when it is a religiously mandated condition.
