I just realized I posted under my old name because I posted from my computer, which I haven't done in forever, and it had me automatically signed in. Oops.

I posted recently about how my integrity toasted the asshole director... The dickhead was kicked out of our office (he was director over 2), and was demoted to just being over the other office. Today, he actually got my new director to yell at me and threaten me. This guy is about as smooth as they come, but his colors show over time. Short version: I was seeing patients and my car bro

Lol. I got the idea picturing something crawling out of the "primordial soup" and evolving...rising from the ashes, hence the phoenix part. But to acknowledge how primitive TSCC acts, I attempted a play on words changing primordial to primormonial...

Ah. Now you told me the details, it makes a lot of sense in your case. I guess I was wondering more about a theist spouse who wants to teach their children about belief in god but attempts to prevent their atheist spouse from expressing their thoughts. Thanks for clarifying! Sorry I came across as rude!

I appreciate your honesty... How do you justify to yourself that it is ok for you to teach your children your world view but put a gag order on your spouse? That's quite hypocritical. Are not your spouse's (or hypothetical if your spouse isn't atheist) perceptions, thoughts, reasonings and experiences valid? The funny thing is, when I was a believer, I couldn't really explain why I

Would you try to prevent an atheist spouse from expressing their world view to your children?

Awesome bc! If she changes that mindset, her whole reality won't be tainted by that old perception. It's a great beginning that she acknowledged it!

Actually, this one resonates with me as well... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW65rFN22io HEROES David Bowie I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive them away We can beat them, just for one day We can be heroes, just for one day And you, you can be mean And I, I'll drink all the time 'Cause we're lovers, and that is a fact Yes we're lovers, an

BTW Raptor, my wife chuckled while I read it to her, but she laughed hard at "the power of Christ compelled you" bit. That is the best ending possible :)

On a thread I posted earlier about my frustrations about applying for a Catholic annulment of my LDS marraige to my ex-wife, (so my wife can take communion if my first marraige is annulled), RJ posted how I should write my true life history. He wrote it for me as follows :) "Posted by: Raptor Jesus ( ) Date: August 09, 2012 02:13PM I, Lost Mystic, having been born of goodly parents

Because they "need to consider all of the factors leading up to my first marraige." Oh yeah...the whole thing costs a few hundred dollars as well...even if I get turned down. Money and control.

Don't apologize Tristan! When I read rants or venting, I think "yeah. Yeah! YEAH!!! That's right!!! Those assholes!!" It makes me feel better like I got to vent a little too, and I feel unity with the poster... So don't stop and don't apologize! And don't apologize for apologizing! Your voice is yours! Let it fly!
