I appreciate your thoughts and you are correct, the last stripping of "autonomy" came about in the late 80's or early 90's. Prior to that women had more freedom within the organization itself. However, I was referring to when women were stripped of the priesthood power. That did happen when Briggy took over.

In all my years of participating in Mormonism, I never heard one deep thought. Not one. I have heard of plenty from other, more organized Christian sects, but not among the Mormons. It's more especially true in sects that believe in a formal educational process for the actual leadership of a congregation.

I just watched that podcast and they're not certain about the details either. But what I wonder is if the boy was locked in this room -- that locks from the outside only -- how did he escape? If it's a panic room, then it would also have a way to exit the room. That's the purpose of a panic room.

I've heard that St. George and it's surrounding developments have quite a few high end homes that are kitted out for Preppers, and those homes have both safe rooms (for nuclear fallout), etc. as well as water catchment and other survival systems in place. So the contractor would have probably installed quite a few and thought nothing about children being held hostage.

It's the system that they followed that makes it impossible that she was born somewhere else at a different time with a different doctor to the one that also delivered her sister. But never mind the birth certificate, her son is biologically related to the brothers and sisters she grew up with. That cannot be the case if she was born to native people in Canada.
