Thanks for listening and watching, Kathleen. It’s so nice to have something truly exciting to inspire me. For so long, my husband was completely cut off from his daughters. And now, one of them is in contact, at last. She has turned out to be wonderful… and so are her kids and husband. So, I have been wanting to do that song, but it just seemed right now.

Thank you. I really enjoyed making the video. Still working on guitar. I would like to eventually do something original.

Tom in Paris reminded reminded me that it was time to do another music video. I've been wanting to try this song for awhile, but it took my husband's new grandchild to get me to do it. Most of the photos are of Italy, our furry kids, and my husband seeing his new grandson, but there are a couple of me, too. I hope some of you enjoy! https://youtu.be/AMtcCZjKrfo

Incidentally, I don't think younger daughter has told Ex that the baby was born. Ex isn't crowing about it on Instagram. Instead, she's trying to grift money again.

Except when he goes there, he's usually not staying in Vegas proper, but near or on a military installation! It's too bad my cousin moved a few months ago. He lived in Vegas for years, and my husband would visit him on his trips. But my cousin moved to Nashville... which would probably be more fun for me, given the music scene and our other cousin, who is a professional musician there. Unfort

Well, his business trips aren't really fun for me, since I usually end up hanging out by myself in a hotel all day. But maybe someday, I can be convinced to vacation in the States. :D

It was tougher when his daughters were children and his ex would not let him have visitation. But now, at least one of them can share her news directly. And if they want to visit, they can. I wish older daughter was on her own, so she could enjoy similar freedom. But I am very grateful younger daughter had the resilience and grit to move on to her own life. I just hope she can make up for l

Yup. She is true blue. But she’s a good woman, and obviously my husband’s daughter. She’s a great mom! I hate it when my husband travels for work, but I hope he can go to Vegas again, so he can swing by Utah and see them.

Thank you. I still have only met my stepdaughters once, way back in 2003, which is why it seems weird to feel connected to this event. But it has been incredibly rewarding to watch my husband reconnect with one of his daughters, and become “Papa”. I hope someday to know SD and her family better… and again, as much as I dislike Mormonism, I am grateful that good people in the church h

My husband’s TBM younger daughter had her third baby last night at about 10:30pm, Utah time. The boy, name of Isaac, was 5 pounds, 12 ounces. He arrived quickly, and is adorable. He joins older brother and sister, Levi and Clara. And those of you who know our story, know this is a big deal. My husband is delighted to be a grandpa, three times over! And Ex can’t spoil the joy anymore.

Actually, I read a book about this. I think she did get in trouble with the law, but left before they could jail her. They chose not to pursue it. My family lived in England when this happened, but I was too young to know about it. Years later, Joyce McKinney was back in the news for cloning her dog, Booger. Then she hit and killed an elderly man with her car. She also has a habit of su

Oh, sure, I know it’s not a serious proposal. The United States would have to radically change on many levels for vasectomies on young males to be “mandatory”. I just cringe when I see people propose them, even in jest, because I know from real experience what vasectomy reversals entail. I also know that there are many wonderful, egalitarian men in the world who don’t deserve to be lum

I wrote about that yesterday. The headmaster posted a lengthy explanation on the school's website. Basically, he claims that the kids are lying about what really happened. He also smiled in his mug shot. He said he offered the kids the chance to wear the tape or have their parents called, and they chose the tape. BUT-- it's hard for me to believe that in this day and age, an educator actua

I was mostly known for being weird, horse crazy, and profane in high school. I didn't sing at all in those days, so this is a big shock for a few people. Oh, and I also used to write weird stories. I still do that. It's always fun to surprise people! One of my friends said of me, "Voice of an angel... mouth like a sailor." That's about right.

I don’t know if I could do a recording with a phone, since I don’t yet play for myself. A friend recommended some software that I may try next time I am inspired. I need something like Garage Band, but with the camera turned on. The way I did it yesterday was using my laptop’s Photo Booth and singing into Logic Pro, so I had the music. But then I pretty much had to dub myself. Anywa

It was more my looks that bothered me, and being distracted by how I look when I sing. I also need to find a program that allows videoing with a track. I did that video with photo booth, then did the actual vocals in Logic Pro and synced audio and video. There has to be an easier way than that. I still need to practice singing while playing.

About a month ago, when I shared “Here Comes the Sun”, a certain RfMer said I should do a video where people could see my face. I don’t like singing on camera. I get very self conscious. I can sing in public and don’t mind being filmed, but I have trouble watching myself. But after that discussion, I decided to buy a mic stand for my microphone for the day when I manage to accompany
