Roy Moore is being persecuted by the Republican Establishment and the News media. As he rightfully should be. Same for Joe Smith and those who followed him. Loved the You Tube Vid, one of my favorite GBH quotes: Aberrations Gordon B. Hinckley "We live in as society that feeds on criticism. Faultfinding is the substance of columnists and commentators, and there is too much of this

Listen on line: http://radiowest.kuer.org/post/mormons-and-sex 06/29/2017, we’re talking about Mormons and sex. LDS therapist Jennifer Finlayson-Fife says that Mormon theology of the body is very different from many Christian traditions. We here in Southern Utah lost a giant of a man, Larry helped found our Support Group. He will be greatly missed. Larry and his wife Tammy were in the Manti Temple presidency when they discovered the fraud. When in recovery and having much anger, I asked Larry how to deal with my anger, his advice… to help others in their journey out of Mormonism. I’ve followed Larry’s advice to this day

adio West- Monday, we’re exploring MormonLeaks, an online platform where LDS Church employees and insiders can leak private Church documents. Nothing all that incriminating or even interesting has come out yet. The videos and papers have basically shown the LDS Church to be a byzantine bureaucracy run much like a business. But MormonLeaks founder Ryan McKnight says he’s not looking for scanda

When the Mormon Church’s LGBT policy made headlines last November, it shocked a lot of people. Most mainstream Mormons have worked through it with official clarifications, but faithful LGBT members are still in pain and struggling to understand their place in the LDS Church. Critics say it’s also led to increased youth suicides, broken families, and mass resignations. Thursday, we’re talkin

The LDS Church ended the practice of polygamy more than a century ago, but author and activist Carol Lynn Pearson says the idea is “alive and unwell” in Mormon theology. According to doctrine, a man can still be spiritually sealed to multiple wives and those plural marriages are a reality in heaven. Pearson has gathered stories from more than 8000 faithful and former LDS Church members, and j

Or that even today, there’s LDS theology around Jesus Christ that leads Evangelicals to say The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints isn’t really Christian? Thursday, scholar John Turner is Doug’s guest. He’s written a book called The Mormon Jesus and he joins us to discuss how the LDS conce

Joseph Smith claimed that God and Jesus appeared to him in 1820 to tell him all churches were wrong, which led him to found the Mormon faith. Late LDS President Gordon B.
