Topping axeldc. I've worked in the non-profit sector my entire life and the state rankings absolutely drive me nuts. Charity is actual philanthropy where nothing is asked in return. Tithing is club dues with a bunch of made up eternal benefits.

If Ballard can use his super powers to end the drought in Ethiopia, can't Holland just do the same in the Middle East?

Interesting article. My parents had to deal with the Riverton City Council when they tried to sell my grandfather's 4 acre property just south of Redwood Road. Developers wouldn't touch it because the city council put so many restrictions on lot sizes, etc. The Lutheran Church were looking for a location for a new church and school and had cash in hand. The Riverton City Council had to approv

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/tracy-morgan-i-went-side-844079 Since Tracy Morgan also "went to the other side", maybe they could co-author a book. He's funny as hell so I'm hoping whatever experience he had doesn't change him.

Hey Steve: Thanks for sharing past access you had to leaders of LD$ Inc. I resigned in the mid 90's and had a number of discussions with lil' bro Mike about your journey out and my dissatisfaction. Mike and I worked together at the U of U and were neighbors in the Aves. He's a good dude. He would drop off a copy of your cartoons on my desk. Give him my best. We've never met, but your bei

Releasing this "new and improved" explanation on a Friday is a typical PR move used by large corporations like LD$ Inc. to minimize the national attention to negative news. LD$ Inc. realizes they have not control of the message and are getting hammered in the media. For those of us who enjoy watching LD$ Inc. self destruct, this has been a wonderful week!

As a 1980 graduate of Olympus High School I can proudly say that despite coming from a TBM family I did NOT go on a mission......except to see as many Dead shows as possible.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/compost/wp/2015/02/12/absurd-things-that-almost-happened-montanas-yoga-pants-ban/ A Montana legislator tried to introduce legislation to ban yoga pants in public. You really can't make this sh*% up. He later said it was a joke. Montana's legislature is made up of a bunch of crazy bible thumpers.

Hey Giff. If your Mormon god just decided to have Archie pull a hamstring so you could pay tithing, why didn't the Mormon god just make you a better player so you would have a nice contract? LD$ Inc. prints this garbage as truth and then wonders why young people are leaving the church.

I live in Bozeman and have rarely run into Mormons....except the missionaries at the library who have nothing to do. Billings seems to have the highest percentage of Mormons. Some Montanans who live outside of Bozeman refer to it as Bozeangeles because of all the wealthy second home owners in Big Sky.

I will catch a BYU football or basketball game on tv now and again. The student section couldn't be more pasty white! It's really creepy when they are all wearing the same t-shirt. It's like they haven't seen the sun in years. It's not a glow. It's a pompous opinion of themselves that they are better than you.

Mormon apologists would really go crazy if they knew the real Arnold Friberg. I grew up just below his residence/studio in Holladay, Utah. My father was his bishop. This was in the 70's and 80's. Arnold loved my father because he didn't bother him about the church. Arnold maybe came to church three times in 20 years. He would call my father and ask if we could help move items in his studio.

With the aging 15, I'm sure there are a bunch of 70s kissing Oak's ass so they can be elevated to the 12.

I remember being in primary and sunday school in the late 60's being taught if we didn't pay "burn insurance" we would fry during the second coming.....like it was about to happen tomorrow. I can't think of a more messed up way to scare an eight year old into thinking they may self combust. This was magnified by all the old buzzards who bore testimony that Jeezuz would come back in th

Referring to each other as "sister" and "brother." On a recent flight, I had to listen to two women gossip about their ward calling everyone sister and brother. Do they understand how cultish it sounds to others!

Could Tad's photo at the bottom of the article be more creepier? I guess ol' Tad feels he needs to jump on the doubt your doubts bandwagon and be relevant after he was relegated to the sunday school presidency.

It's my understanding that LD$ Inc. stopped referencing the "iron rod" in materials because it was used by Joseph Smith as a device to find treasures. Or perhaps everyone in deacons class made a penis comment anytime someone mentioned the iron rod. Maybe the latter.
