@SL Cabbie, actually what you did was take the speculative parts of the article that dont have any proof behind them such as the other parts of Egypt were of other races and presented it as fact. You quoted from another article not the nature.com article I originally posted. But anyways you said "However, we note that all our genetic data were obtained from a single site in Middle Eg

@SL Cabbie, if you actually read the article that you linked to then you would have read this: "'The genetics of the Abusir el-Meleq community did not undergo any major shifts during the 1,300 year timespan we studied, suggesting that the population remained genetically relatively unaffected by foreign conquest and rule,' says Wolfgang Haak" Its funny that you disagree so much wi

"The Near East is not Europe, period" Not suprisingly you completely missed the point again. The White Europeans used to live in the Middle East. If you looked up Ancient Anatolians ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Anatolians ) like I said you should then you would know that. This isnt a discussion about what pieces of land are called. This is a discussion about what racial g

I wasnt trying to start a fight. I just made a post about the Book of Abraham being wrong. It says the Egyptians were black Canaanites when they were actually white Europeans. DNA tests prove it. @SL Cabbie, I am not suffering from "cognitive dissonance" or lacking in reading comprehension. You are. You said "Repeat: The Near East is in Asia, not Europe." That is where you are wrong. The Near East is the Middle East. The Far East is Asia. The article you linked to is saying the exact same thing the article I linked to is saying. Europeans used to live in the Middle

@SL Cabbie, the article is clear. It says "Both types of genomic material showed that ancient Egyptians shared little DNA with modern sub-Saharan Africans. Instead, their closest relatives were people living during the Neolithic and Bronze ages in an area known as the Levant. Strikingly, the mummies were more closely related to ancient Europeans and Anatolians than to modern Egyptians.&quo

97. Egypt
Joseph Smith made many claims about Egypt in the Book of Abraham. Lets see how they hold up against Egyptian history. The Book of Abraham was supposedly written by Abraham himself while living in Egypt. The fact that the Book of Abraham contains the word Egypt is an anachronism. Ancient Egypt was not called Egypt by the Egyptians. Ancient Egyptians called their country Kemet. Kemet means &quo

The first thing to do is hit Control+Alt+Delete then select the task manager to see what your computer is doing. Second, find the tasks that you dont need and choose End Task to close them. When you install programs on your computer there usually are background tasks that run from time to time that slow your computer down. You can uninstall the extra programs or stop them from starting in

@steve benson, you arent even responding to what I am saying to you. You are just talking to yourself at this point. I dont have a socialist Jesus. You are the one who is claiming Jesus is a socialist not me. I dont have a Mormon Jesus either. I am not advocating Mormon thinking. If you didnt notice Mormons dont follow what Jesus taught. I am not talking about a Mormon Holy Spirit either.

@steve benson, when Jesus was asked if he was a King, Jesus replied that his kingdom is not of this world. Clearly Jesus saw himself as the head of a spiritual organization not a worldly one. John 18:36 "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not fr

@steve benson, and you just showed how you are unable to have an actual intellectual discussion. When your beliefs are challenged you act like a child on a playground. You can chuckle all you want but that ISNT an argument. There is no "Holy Spirit card". I was just explaining what Jesus ACTUALLY taught as opposed to your ABSURD interpretation. Jesus clearly taught that the Holy

@steve benson, you are clearly misinterpreting the teachings of Jesus. Jesus said we should be led by the Holy Spirit not a Government agency. You are just trying to read current political movements into the text to misrepresent his teachings. That is intellectually dishonest.

@steve benson, the Government isnt a charity. Taxes arent charity either. You can deduct contributions to actual charities from your taxes but taxes still arent charity. You cant call a payment that is obligatory (required by law) giving to charity. That isnt what charity is.

@jebus1, exactly. Jesus didnt say the Government should compel anything. The point Jesus was making is that loving your neighbor as yourself is what matters. If the Government has to come to your home to take your food and give it to someone else then that isnt an act of love. That is force. What Jesus was advocating was charity towards others. If you are forced to give to charity then

What happens when a newly baptized person does not show up for confirmation at sacrament meeting? Well you dont become a member until you are confirmed a member by the laying on of hands. The reason for this is so that the Missionaries cant just create members without the congregation knowing about it. Missionaries would baptize people who didnt have any interest in being Mormon and nobody

This just proves my point. The article says "Christian Identity is not an organized religion, and is not connected with specific Christian denominations; instead, it is independently practiced by individuals, churches and some prison gangs." It doesnt have anything to do with any Christian denomination... It isnt even an organized religion. But yet people try to blame Christian

@koriwhore, The article says >>>The researchers said, almost as an aside, that “only religious agnostics were racially tolerant.”<<< That article is completely stupid to say the least. It actually says that the only group that isnt racist is agnostics. It makes it sound like all religions are racist.

@koriwhore, so why is it that only the religious groups are racist? That doesnt even make sense. You keep making this sound like it is about religion when it isnt. If voting for Donald Trump is your only evidence of "racism" then clearly your problem is with Donald Trump not religion. You just want to make it sound like it is about religion when in fact you just dislike conservat

@sunbeep, I am sure the only for Endowed members part isnt legally binding because the law wouldnt even recognize that status but it also says not for re-sale. That could be legally binding because there are regulations about such sales. Often times things will say not for re-sale because the individual packaging isnt labeled correctly for legal sales. For example when you open a box of fruit sna

Never mind the fact that there are liberal Evangelical congregations and conservative Evangelical congregations just like there are conservative areas and liberal areas of the country. Never mind that most congregations have members of various races. Never mind why you singled out Evangelicals at all. Just say the magic word "racist" and watch the hysteria unfold.

We have already spoken of the massacre of the Aiken party and the slaying of Jesse Hartley for opposing the church. These were certainly not the only cases of blood atonement in early Utah. In Major Problems of Mormonism, p. 181, we reported concerning the murders of Ramos Anderson and Dr. Vaun for adultery. John D. Lee tells of other people who were "blood atoned." In addition, Hosea S

@elderolddog, they might get away with it in Utah but not most other countries. It would be a huge problem for them trying to manage legal problems around the world. That is why I think they would just stop ex-communicating polygamists in Utah while pretending that they dont teach it or practice polygamy. That seems to be their style through history as well. They pretended to stop practici
