I watched it too. I thought that the Samauri must have definitely thought God was watching over them. But in reality, God had nothing whatever to do with it. The Mongols had used river boats on the Ocean that were never designed to handle rough seas. Kublai Khan had a great lack of inspiration and a whole lot of ambition and because of it caused the death and distruction of his own society.

But he got his "blessings" restored by the laying on of hands by Mark E Peterson. Now he thinks that he can become a god one day and have his own world. What a crock from the beginning this all was. Smith/Cowdery and Rigdon cooked it all up from day one. Smith definitely would be in jail if he were alive today.
