I went from thinking JS was one of the greatest men ever on the planet, to thinking he was one of the biggest pigs on the planet. I read Wife no 19 and it really opened my eyes to understand those who had been mistreated by the church and its freaky leaders. When I was a missionary, I taught about the Blind leading the Blind...when it was ME who was blind.

Virtually everything we said was memorized. Add to that that they socialize for two years with people who are all alike, and you get what you get. Welcome to the website, and may I recommend tal bachmans posts, which are always a good read.

259. I talked to a recruiter and joined the army. Only had to stay in 3 years and picked a safe specialty...

I did have some technical experience, but they gave me an aptitude test and I was then guaranteed to work in Europe in microwave radio. You have a few weeks at the start in boot camp, but everybody should be required to go through that. Are you healthy? Good luck. I have friends from my army days that still keep in touch...great people.

264. Yes, I remember Hill, 1968-69

He was a prolific note taker...even using envelopes if other paper was not handy. He smiled a lot, was nice enough...but I dont remember which class I took under him.
