Hi all, been quite a while since was last here and when I thought I had managed to sort out in my head about my conversion to the cult (YES it is a cult and good luck trying to convince me otherwise), the shit that they done to turn me into a drone, the shit I done in the service of those bastards which I feel nothing but shame about and then the crap and complete head screw when I walked away.

It made me chuckle after the initial "WTF?" Its either A: someone firing out a random Poe, B: Someone off their rocker firing out The Word of God(tm)(pat. pending), or C: something fishy going on

Found this email sitting in the inbox for an email address I only use for gaming which the people who have it dont know I'm ex-cult so it would be good if I can find where it came from. Its definitly an interesting text and looks like its from someone a bit doolaly: Sealed portion of the Book of Mormon in translation 2015!‏ mormon.news@hushmail.com (mormon.news@hushmail.com) To: No Priva

I know one, me. The cult had a large factor to play with self-confidence and self worth which added onto the fact I wasn't diagnosed with bi-polar at the time. I couldnt grasp why they said they were helping while they were tearing my mind apart and shaping it their way and I never seen it coming and that I fell for their lies. The drink numbed my brain and made it easier to cope. Two and

Meetup group for cannibals slogan - Come meat your friends! Two cannibals are sitting by the fire eating soup. One turns to the other and asks what flavour it is. The other replies "Cheek and noodle"

Your going to make a lot of friends with point 7, refusing to discuss or accept that other people have a different perspective is just downright rude and your going to get a hell of a lot of people telling you to get lost. Its going to get a bit lonely if you keep that mindset. Your forgetting that we have been on the other side and know what its like in the cult. Ask yourself this, if mormoni

At the moment I'm reading Miles Davis's autobiography and working my way through the Cthuhlu Mythos cycle by H.P. Lovecraft

What gets me through the darkness now is my little cat, and to be honest I don't think I would be here if it wasn't for her. I have bi-polar and have looked into the abyss a few times and have been hospitalised when it got too much on a few occasions. Having my ball of fur around has been the best thing to keep me on an even keel, its amazing. If I start feeling down she picks up on it and doe

Happy days, the new Floyd album arrived today :) Well worth a listen. Apart from the last track its all instrumental, its a put your feet up and chill out job. What is good is it was recorded before Rick Wright passed on so it has that distinctive Floyd sound. Verdict: 10/10

Your doing a good job from what I've seen, your more "normal" than some of the nevermo's that I know :) Cheers for the heads up on the KJV apocrypha, looking forward to having a chat about it next time we get a chance to have a brew.

I had an interesting thought the other day that has puzzled me, I dont know if this one has been brought up before. Was showing a friend of mine the endowment film and thought "Hang on, how the hell can Peter shake hands with Adam when he is not a resurrected being as he's not even been born". Quick check over to the barrel of fun that is the D&C 129 and yup, they should not hav

I first read it when I was in high school but it didn't make an impact until I started waking up from the cult brainwashing. I always say that 1984 really opened up my eyes when it comes to freedom of thought and what it means.

After doing a lot of thinking lately about where I am going in life after recent events I realised that I need to expand my circle of friends, but being a strange sort (raving geek) I find it hard to meet people who are into the same things. A few people here have mentioned meetup a few times, for you peeps who have used it what's your opinion? Worth checking out?

24. Tea
I thought I would throw this one out for the tea drinkers out there, what's your favourite brew? For me its a strong mug of Assam in the morning, the perfect way to wake up. The brew I love to sit and enjoy at night is Russian Caravan made with loose leaf in a pot. Apart from that, if its a brew I'm happy, but just don't put the milk in first (one of the most controversial factors when it come

Is Packer turning into Davros? Apart from looking like him more and more, here are some more possible indicators.. 1: He is dependant on his chair which keeps him going 2: Void of darkness where his soul should be 3: The sort of megalomania which drives him for complete domination over all life everywhere. 4: Has an army of his creation to carry out his plans

For me it was realising the importance of freedom of thought. Stuff in the cult was straight out of "Nineteen Eighty-Four", sometimes I wonder if the cult leaders read it and thought it was an instruction manual. Seeing the outcome and the state of mind I was in at the time I was active and it scared the hell out of me with the parallels
