So in the past we have seen the kids who don't much care to go. Here is one that just plain irritated me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb--F_Oo65w About :35 in, just take a second and pause it. See what some clever little morgbot wrote down. Um, comments? I hope his mission hurts.

If TSCC has ANY type of growth, one would see them hiring left and right, but instead - layoffs? Wow. Wow and thank FSM!

The proof for me that the morg doesn't really care about what temple work is supposedly "really" for is this: It has been estimated that the McTemples cost between $5 and $15 million dollars each to build depending on size and if land is already owned or not. They are planning on putting a temple downtown Philly and according to the news reports it is going to cost aprox $70 milli

I have no problem with him sitting in my living room. He'll be on my turf. No prayers, thank you. But I sure the hell will not go to "The Bishop's Office". That's just not an option.

I sent in my resignation letter earlier this week (10-5). I had to call Utah to find out who to send it to locally. I figured I’d send one to headquarters and send one to the local leader man to make sure it got done. When I called the mormon headquarters I got a nice lady in membership records. I asked her where my records are. She said to call my local bishop and request my records be se

"I wonder what ELSE they have changed?" I am hoping that this thought will ring through the minds of more than a few members this week. I distinctly remember my moment. I was as TBM as they come. I was so TBM that I actually read Desnews to get my daily news rather than the local news sites. Stupid, I know. Anywhoo, one day 'bout a decade ago, I was reading about the new MMM

we should all make sure we download the current video. They somehow manage to get vids pulled all the time. I've already pulled his whole speech and saved it.

do or say anything that would make another individual feel so badly about themselves that they would even consider killing themselves should have SHAME heaped upon them. So I will chime in and say SHAME ON PACKER. That's why. Unless you've been though it, you might never fully understand.

I remember when I realized that it was just our own feelings. I had discovered all the problems with the mormon church and was sitting there thinking, "but I've felt the spirit. I know I have". Then I got to thinking about when and where. I knew that I had in the temple, and I knew that I had at certain conferences. Then I remembered Paul Dunn's talks. With a certain glee, I p

on Tuesday when I sent in my resignation. I attempted suicide when I was 13. I was gay, I had been molested for YEARS by an uncle (TBM) and was lectured by HIS friends about morality (they were our home teachers). I have just had it. I should have sent it in years ago, but had this feeling that somehow Boyd F. Packer would somehow have something to do with it. I thought that perhaps I

I'm on the way to the post office to mail my letter. Here it is: To whom it may concern: This letter will serve as my official resignation from the Mormon Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) effective today, October 5, 2010. As of the signing of this letter your church will not have my consent to consider me a member, being subject to church “rules”, policies, bel

but I hope he hurts. He is the most hated and reviled mormon leader in the last many many decades. I'm one of those he hates, and it is sent right back at him. His words when I was young caused me pain and self hatred. His words after being parroted by others nearly led me to suicide, I'm glad it didn't work. I hope he lives long. Long and painful.

This is my favorite question: If Jesus is as powerful as we are told.....is it possible for him to microwave a burrito so hot he himself cannot eat it?

the neighborhood folks did NOT want that thing. When it was in the paper a lot the messages from mormons kept saying how temples raised property values. Perhaps in Ut, but if I was shopping for a home and there was a giant religious structure all lit up, gated with drones coming in an out I would NOT be interested. To be honest, it doesn't matter WHAT religion it is. About the Phoenix build

I was reading an article on CNN today about a Wiccan who was chiming in about a certain individual running for a certain Senate seat. Apparently the candidate had made a statement in passing that “lumped witchcraft with Satanism” and called those who practice witchcraft “questionable folks”. Here is a small portion of the article: *** “Once again, the Rev. Selena Fox realized,

how happy I was that it was Sunday. Sunday morning means a giant mug of D A R K coffee reading RFM. All my life I dreaded Sundays. Sundays used to mean waking up earlier than my body wanted to, scrambling to get dressed in "suit drag" scarfing down a piece of toast and racing to cult just to sit in a pew being lectured on how I'll never measure up.
