I realize I'm irrelevant but I ordered more yarn online & want to do a bunch more knitting & pin loom weaving before taking the dirt nap. Today I expect to convince Hot Man's mom to go on a short walk outside. We gotta see some different scenery! Cabin Fever! P.S. Hardly anyone goes outside in our neighborhood. Ergo, walking is a safe activity.

Personally, I'm looking forward to a successful covid vaccine. Looking waaa a . a . . .ay into the future for that vaccine. I turn 70 this year. We got Hot Man's 90-y-o mom here; she came out ostensibly for a visit of a few weeks. It's been 4 weeks & we don't know when it'll be safe to send her home. Cabin Fever!

How true, Elder Berry. How true. I rarely think about The Late Former Husband any more, but when I do, the anger returns and My Hot Man realizes he said something that revived an unpleasant memory. While he didn't hit me, his narcissism and bi-polar disorder caused great upheaval and financial distress in our family. I have a Hot Never-Mo Man now; a complete opposite of di . . .I mean,

In other words, it's possible to buy your own groceries from the supermarket, or you can pay that money to the church as tithing and, if you're lucky, get food from the church. You're buying the groceries either way. Way back when we got church food, it tended to be of lower quality than what we would have purchased by from the market. Can't say if it's improved any currently.

I'm a lefty, which means I'm ambidextrous. I think the "right hand only" edict was something that did not come from headquarters; it was taught sporadically by some members which I took to have been incorporated from other religious traditions.

Elder Berry is right. I converted at age 18 and ask myself how I could have been so gullible. Then I remember growing up when everybody believed in God. Mo-ism was considered like any other Christian religion back then. At least I had a life before Mo-ism.

GNPE asked: "Who sets the topics for SM 'talks' these days? . . . What about the hymns? Same package?" Well, when I was called as ward chorister, back in the 2000s, the bishopric at that time would tell me the theme of the upcoming Sunday's talks so I could choose the opening, closing, and sacrament hymns to correlate with the talks. Then we got a new bishop and he said the b

EOD, Thank you for remembering me and for the green $25 Thunderbird Hotel casino chip. I apologize for being very late in replying because of a whole lot o' long story stuff that came up in December that occupied my time and thoughts, culminating in the assembling of a shed (My "Little House") in My Hot Man's backyard. We're in our late 60s, so we're entirely worn out from the asse

That's what some members have done and others continue to do. They are the myriad splinter groups, past and present, of the Latter Day Saint Movement. There's a long list o' them on Wikipedia.

Hey! I like man buns! My Hot Man had long hair when I met him. He had a very long ponytail as time went on. He would even comb his hair up to the top o' his head and tie it with a scrunchie. His long hair would then cascade out and down which he referred to it as a fountain. Eventually, he got tired if caring for it and now wears a conventional haircut. But, he never wore it in a man bun!

But, getting out of debt improves health in that the anxiety brought on by debt (and "interest never sleeps") is both physically and emotionally draining. Think of the mental and emotional relief of No More Debt.

There was a favorite hymn in the 1948 edition of the hymnal, "Come,Thou Fount of Every Blessing". When the 1985 edition came out, many of us were disappointed as "the powers that were" left it out. I have read online long ago, but can't remember the site, that older Mo hymnals contained a lot of funeral hymns, hymns meant for particular individuals, i.e., Dear Mother, Poo

To continue ptbarnum's train of thought about Elohim and Mary, What About Mary's Consent beforehand? Was there any? Or, did Mary just submit because she knew she had no rights? And, continuing ptbarnum's lament concerning all the related people involved, a little something to lighten our moods: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3cCl4JKJ28

I have read that, according to church leaders, they do not know when the spirit enters the body of the baby before birth. Therefore, miscarriages, and possibly early abortions, are accepted. Of course, there are usually confessions to be made during the pre-baptism interview, unless the interviewee withholds information, either ignorantly or purposefully. You might also want to consider this

Summer said: "Bishops vary widely. Some are wonderful, some are awful, with everything in between. Some might require your wife to tithe on every cent she gets. Some might exempt public assistance from tithing, and give her church assistance in the form of money, bill payments, and/or food. There is no way to predict. A lot of this hinges on the temple recommend, which will not come up un
