My first half was great. I had a good trainer who saw through most of the BS and led me down his dark path. From that point on, I was just kinda along for the ride. The second half was fun but, it was harder to get away with skirting mission rules. I was assigned to a major US city and I always had something fun to do. I got to rub shoulders with some very well-to-do people (TBM) and otherwis

Bacardi and Diet Coke with a wedge of lime. Two please. That's going to go nicely with the ribeye steak and deep-fried green beans tonight. Cake

Personally, I'm enamored by the lovely and gracious Sharon Osborne promoting the Atkins lineup of high protein low carb offerings. Too bad she's married to that rocker Ozzy. Cake

I was an RM attending Ricks College in the early 80's when I found a wonderful lass who liked things I liked and we began dating. A few weeks into our relationship, we attended a dance on campus. As we were dancing, some puke with a BOM steps in and places it between my date and I and says we are too close together. I'm not a small guy and I begin to realize that I'm going to kill this puke. I ca

Robert Eisenman's 'James The Brother of Jesus' cleared up a LOT of things for me. Very well thought out and scholarly work on a subject that most Mo's never venture down outside of Jesus The Christ by Talmage. Cake

A benefit to the idea of not being broken that I've come across is the idea of living life in the moment and not for some future pleasure or ideal. Glazing some bisque ware and getting it ready for the kiln. Snowboarding on some much needed new snow. Kids came over for coffee and chocolate chip cookies. Next up, Blacklist or The Walking Dead.

Yes, yes, I am so glad to understand what I know about TSCC and more importantly, myself. Was there one thing or an accumulation of factors that led me out? Maybe I'll save the whole story for my exit story later. I have not resigned but, what's the point until they want to push back. Short story in order to answer the question: I've been non-practicing for over 15 years. Where it began is wi

I'm new here to the forum but, I've lurked and read for a number of years so it's nice to finally (and formally) say hello. Recently, I read of John Dehlin being excommunicated by TSCC. I knew of him because of a video he recently did with a gentleman who had left the church and had written his concerns down in an email to a CES employee. One of the things that came out of that conversation was t

Wouldn't it be funny to give the chorus to say, Jack Nicholson, on a bright, sunny day and have him read it like a screenplay? I'd also like to hear Christopher Walken read a conference talk or a passage out of the BOM. Not new here but a long-time listener and lurker.
