Not in Utah. My no religious inquiries sign does not stop them from knocking. I have not officially resigned.

Or the former LDS director convicted of child sexual abuse and the church KNEW of his history. Oh wait! It was covered! Sundance co-founder convicted and that's all we have to say about that at KSL.

I wish I could see it in my own family. Me and my husband come from large families. We are the only ones not attending. There may be one BIL that I'm not sure about. We've never officially resigned. Everyone is still active in the church including my married nieces and nephews.

I know lots of Mormons who think nothing of it and post on Facebook. Not necessarily, a selfie, but body in the casket.

God forbid, it is actually the man's fault. Women are bitches and aggressive while men are assertive.

If it's "just a wedding" and not a sealing, it would be better to have someone ordained from the internet. Bishops are required to preach when they do civil ceremonies. I don't see that changing. It's as bad as funerals.

It was sad because she had mental illness. A woman testified that Jesus was coming very soon and she was prepared. Suits for all the Quorum of the twelve and I swear she said she had cowboy boots ready too. There were a lot of scared children in the chapel.

Yes! The first week, I let that mental shelf brainwashing go, I drove by numerous churches on a Sunday. I smiled gleefully and felt a peace I never felt inside a church.

That's why I haven't resigned. I'm mostly under the radar and I'm in Utah. I couldn't tell you my ward because I'm in one of those areas where the church IS expanding and boundaries constantly change. The most I get is taped messages to my door. The no soliciting sign that includes religion in the description seems to help.

It is liberating! I'll never forget the look of the counselor's face when I questioned why the bishop wanted to meet with me. I told him I needed to know if it was worth my time. I didn't go.

I must live in the wrong part of Utah. Big families fend for themselves from my experience.

I live in Utah and it is no longer a big deal. I know more Mormon women that work than do not work outside the home.

I know the family. I won't go into more details because they have been unfairly attacked through no fault of their own. It has zero to do with Mormonism.

Twinkie cakes not a Utah Mormon thing. Mitt hasn't been a Utah resident long. Maybe it's a Massachusetts or Michigan thing.

I got conned into a Kyani meeting with Mormons I never met. How do I know they were Mormons? They were greeting each other as brother and sister. Kyani has lots of awards and FDA approved or something. I saw it in a slide show. Drink the koolaid and you'll be cured of inflammation, depression, and anxiety. Oh, and it's good for (said in a whispering voice) your sex drive. BUT only if you're m
