My parents were born in Ireland. My relatives' FB pages have been full of it today, and rightly so. A wonderful outcome. Roscommon/South Leitrim was marginally the only no vote...ah well.

From what I can gather she has had an interesting time since the wedding, which has included a short arena tour in the UK and a much extended honeymoon period with trips to Florida and the Bahamas.

I spied a similar stall at a 'well being' event in Ireland of all places. Reiki, massage, crystals, tarot, healthy eating/living, sustainable lifestyles and Family Search.

Well, I found one of my local sisters via the blog index. If I see her out and about tomorrow I will tell her that our local library is not rubbish! How dare she say nasty things about one of our key community hubs. Grrr..

I remember the coverage and the mourning in my Irish Catholic home. I met RFK a few years after and as youngster was blown away that he made a point of talking to me rather than the adults. It lives long in my memory. We know the behind the scenes stories that have since emerged but I always wonder what our world be like had both of them lived on. The closing credits in 13 Days make me weep

So, how many TBMs make a living at Morton Thiokol? This is an interesting read - as are the customer reviews. There are some fascinating gaps in the theory. http://www.amazon.co.uk/DARK-MOON-David-ARPS-Percy/dp/1898541108/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1384546973&sr=8-5&keywords=dark+moon

The two eldest boys in the Osmond family are deaf. It was to fund their missions that the younger boys started off in show business. One of Merrill's son is also deaf and he does so much work in the US and overseas to help those with hearing loss. Olive worked very hard with those two eldest boys to enable them to embrace life as much as they could despite their deafness; I understand that her

This was all over the US media around the time of the April GC. There have been other similar happenings since. I am sure the TSCC is watching this man with deep interest. http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/04/03/watch-megyn-kellys-emotional-interview-with-dr-paul-gondreau-dad-of-disabled-boy-embraced-by-pope-francis/

I saw the thread about Smith and Jones, and somehow my brain suggested that I may be asked to state a preference for one or the other of the fictional Alias Smith (Peter Duel) and Jones (Ben Murphy) (1970s cultural reference). I assumed that there may be key TBM lessons to be learned from their respective character traits. Weird I know. How often does your brain make the wrong assumptions abou

'a senior apostle came to Sweden at his request and told a meeting of Mormons that he had a manuscript in his briefcase that, once it was published, would prove all the doubters wrong. But Mr. Mattsson said the promised text never appeared, and when he asked the apostle about it, he was told it was impertinent to ask.' This is a strangely familiar scenario.
