Yep, still out and about...been about 8 years out of the church, and we are doing well. Just getting older and fatter. Wife fixed prime rib for Christmas Eve dinner, which we enjoyed with a great California Cabernet. Hope everyone's Christmas is great, and Santa brought you everything you wanted.

who lives in Southern California, who didn't know I had resigned. First question out of his mouth: What Ward you in? That opened the door for me to tell him about several reasons for leaving the church. His comment: I'm sorry. My response: Don't be sorry, I am happier than I have been in my whole life without the church making me feel bad that I can never do enough. His comment:

I am soooooo happy that I left, and I didn't even think of conference until I read the comments about the general authorities talks. Just reading the posts about those jerks makes me ill. so sayeth sfex
