Within days after my baptism, I lied. I'd been left home to babysit three younger siblings. I was told not to go to the creek, which I did right after they left. Hey, I guess that's a sin, isn't it? I lied about going later.

I'm an introvert, and Mormons don't accept the fact. They needed for me to socialize with unlikable people. Sometimes I think that religion is a lonely hearts club.

I was raised with the negro ban, and no Mormon will admit to it now. They were proud of the word Mormon, and they bragged that they weren't Christian or even protestant. Mormon boys would grow up to become gods, that's also denied. Priesthood meetings were referred to as world-building studies. We had Boy Scouting and pot lucks from the kitchen. That church no longer exists and I get called a liar

My parents were deathly afraid of alcohol. They were invited to adult parties and they declined. They were considered cold and aloof by non-Morons. They paid for their friends with tithing.

We hope all things, we believe all things, we hope to believe many things. Yea, even unto the admonition of Paul do we totally, like, dupe out. I mean, thou couldst tell any order of bullshit and we'll nod our heads. If there is anything praiseworthy or pawnable, we seek these things.

Certainly, she was in the spectrum with her Mormon peers, Corporal punish is winked at in the subculture. The starvation was pathological, and her neighbors knew. She was reported to the police, but Ivins, Utah is 70% Mormon. I imagine the police force is dominated by brethren. The calls went unheeded.

I was nuts about Boy Scouts. We camped every month, and it was at least a hundred miles from my asshole father. An added bonus was being in the woods on Sunday and having a twenty minute priesthood meeting. No other services.

The land averages $2800 per acre, so you're right. I just looked it up. That makes the profit margin a lot more than I said. Plus I said the houses will sell for $700K. Where do you get that I said that was all profit? They make fortunes. Also what part of ancillary income don't you get. Don't you think contractors get sweet deals? It's an industry whether or not you want to believe it. It's huge

I've been conversing with Mormons online lately. The ignorance has become a thing of amusement to me. Young Mormons are deeply ignorant of church history. Many know nothing of the negro ban. They tell me I made it up. Their knowledge of Joe Smith is the usual. They believe he was never polygamous. Some tell me he wrote the book at age fourteen without help. Also, many deny that the Hill Cumorah w

I've written about this. Mormon investors (the elite Mormons) buy land and get a temple built on it. They get it rezoned with bribes and make a fortune. This wouldn't work if Mormons were not dupes dying to live next to a temple.

Very odd for me, the Boy Scouts. I was twelve and 100% agnostic when I joined the Mormon Boy Scout troop. This was in Pennsylvania. Both scoutmasters were expert woodsmen, and the state is heavily treed. We camped out once a month on a weekend, even in the snow. I lived for those campouts. We had a brief priesthood meeting in the woods on Sundays. These were the best church meetings I ever attend

The church makes good people gooder. When I tell Mormons about my father, they say he tricked the church. Now, why does that sound like a self-burn?
