It is so hard to stop doing the the things you have done your whole life. Nobody wants to give that up. Nobody wants to be dependent. I feel for you because not only is it hard on them it is hard on the caregivers. DH grandfather committed suicide after he fell and broke his hip. He left a note and in it he said "If I can't get up from the chair, or off the toilet. If I cannot put und

I had a miserable sex life with my RM when we married. He had no sexual experience (I did). He was embarrassed, and told me I was a whore for wanting to touch him, give him oral, and show him what I found pleasurable. Hubby #2 (never mo) and I have an active sex life even after 25 years of marriage. I would have a hard time staying in a marriage that included sex only 15 times in 30 years.

We went to hear my FIL preach at a tent revival this morning. He is a fire and brimstone preacher. I am always amazed at how he can work the crowd into a frantic mess - crying, shouting, speaking in tongues (sounds like pig-Latin to me), rolling and shaking on the floor. Way, way more interesting than SM, but a little goes a long way!

Watching arsenic and old lace with DH and kids. Drinking hot chocolate, eating homemade cookies and having a great time being together. I love days like this!

DH family turned me on to tea. Sweet iced tea with lemon or orange, hot tea - spiced, black, green, chai, earl grey, English breakfast... I love them all! So do my kids.

My former TBM husband demanded I stay home and we lived in poverty. My standard of living increased a thousand times when I left and made my own way. My ignorant mother would say "this makes you a stronger couple" or "you need to read your BOM more."

My brother and his hubby came to my house to give me a present that they had accidentally left at home on Christmas Day. It was a plain white envelope with an "invoice" inside. My brother casually mentioned the gift was on back order until April but I could "peek" if I wanted to. OMG! They have hired a surrogate mother to have their baby!!! The baby is due in April!

Getting ready to drive around and look at Christmas lights with the kids. Then we are going for snacks and a movie with my brother. Some people watch a Christmas movie, we always watch "Alien" on Christmas Eve! Tomorrow rather than traditional church services we are having a free Christmas breakfast for the homeless (and anybody else). Live music and all sorts of activities. Expec

I did not join TSCC - I was born into it. I was never given a choice to make a lifetime commitment to something that I didn't even believe as a child.

This happens a lot - unfortunately the people with the money have the power. She may have to pretend for a while.

It is a hard row to hoe, but many of us have done it successfully. I agree with the others: do not leave your home, lawyer up quickly. My piece of advice is to secure half of the assets in the bank NOW before she has a chance to empty the account. Nobody should settle for someone who doesn't want them. My SIL lawyer gave her this sign to put on the bathroom mirror and told her to recite it

I was laying on the couch, watching the evening news when one of the kids told me I was wanted on the telephone. I didn't recognize the number, but that isn't unusual. It was the stake president wanting to know if I would bear my testimony at stake conference this weekend. I would have been less shocked if a stranger walked up to me and asked if I wanted to buy some heroin! I started laugh

DH and I have been outside playing volleyball with the kids - the weather is amazing! Sunny and cool. I am going to cook a couple of casseroles for later this week, and fix a huge pot of ham, green beans, and potatoes for supper. I love Fall weather. After I am finished in the kitchen I am going to lay in the sun, in the hammock and doze.

I offered to give a missionary a blow job and he said "What's that?" After that I looked for experienced guys. My brother was able to get a pair of Elders in his bed - and they must have liked it because the three of them spent many hours in his bedroom. This was when we were in college far, far away from the land of mormon.

Hayrides are the best. We have a team of draft horses and a harvester wagon that we use a lot in the fall fir hayrides. After the hayride nothing tastes as good as a hotdog roasted on a stick over a campfire. (Although I would never turn my nose up at a mug of hot coffee with a shot of whiskey in it).

Wife to a TBM, RM. He liked his mom better than he liked me. Come to think of it, his mom liked him better than she liked his dad. Good thing they will be in the CK without me!

"Mom! Tell grandma you dont care if I masturbate!" Lol! My 13 year old son was rudely interrupted by my super TBM mom as he was enjoying some quality time with himself in the shower. (She walked in without knocking)(clear shower curtain). My mother, who is visiting from Utah, of course was beyond herself with rage, when my DH yelled "Of course it's ok!" My daughter th

This monstrosity opens to the public tomorrow. DH is supposed to go there with a mobile news team. Usually he wouldn't go to an event like that. However, what weatherman could resist telling the weather forecast (rain and more rain), standing under an umbrella, in front of an ark?!?!

Check on Meals on Wheels in your area. Our Kroger has curbside pick up- you order your groceries on line, and they put the bags in your car when you get there. United Way may have a list of volunteers that could help around the house. Since both of you are slowing down will your insurance pay for a couple hours of help per week from an agency to do light housework? Check the newspaper fo

Years ago my dad opened the door to the under ground cellar to check on the food storage. Everything was infested with mice! They were hopping, springing, sprinting, screwing, eating, squeaking just like in a horror show! There were 100 pound bags of wheat, rice, and sugar. Nothing was packed in barrels or storage containers. My parents didn't see a need - they were following orders from
